About the Project

The History of Hytale

Hytale was originally developed by Hypixel Studios, a team that emerged from the popular Minecraft server community Hypixel. The game was first announced in December 2018 and immediately attracted great attention in the gaming community. The announcement trailer reached millions of views within a few weeks, and expectations were high.

Hytale promised to combine the creative freedom of sandbox games with deep RPG elements, an engaging story, and advanced tools for content creators. It was supposed to be what many players had hoped for from an evolution of the sandbox genre.

Unfortunately, the development of the game was repeatedly delayed due to various challenges. Hytale was discontinued due to financial difficulties and delays. The publisher couldn't find a satisfactory compromise to release the game earlier.

Our Project

Our goal is to raise enough money through a Kickstarter campaign to continue the development of Hytale and save the game that so many players have been waiting for.

We believe that Hytale has the potential to be a groundbreaking game that can inspire a new generation of players. The combination of creative freedom, adventure, and community focus makes it a unique project worth saving.
